The aims of the Forum are:

• creation of favourable conditions for the development of regional and international cooperation in the spheres of environmental protection and rational nature management
• participation in forming the state environmental policy
• development and realization of efficient measures for environmental protection
• promotion of environmental equipment and services.

The Ecological Forum comprises: international conferences, informational seminars, trainings with participation of the leading experts in the sphere of environmental protection and representatives of public authorities and business; discussions of new legislative requirements in the sphere of environmental protection; solution of the problems of resource saving at the industrial enterprises; off-site seminars and visits to production facilities of St. Petersburg.
